EU Terms & Conditions

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law. However, as a consumer, you have the right to bring legal proceedings in your country of residence. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country.

Consumer Rights

In accordance with EU consumer protection laws:

  • Right of Withdrawal: You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without providing any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you acquire physical possession of the goods. To exercise your right, please notify us of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
  • Legal Guarantee: You are entitled to a minimum 2-year legal guarantee for goods purchased. If the goods are faulty or not as described, you have the right to request a repair, replacement, or refund. This legal guarantee applies regardless of any commercial warranty provided.

Payment

  • For shipments in the EU, all prices include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
  • Saracen accepts orders using all the major credit or debit cards as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay.

Returns and Refunds

  • Return Period: You may return goods within 14 days of receiving the goods. The goods must be unused, in original condition, in their original packaging and a condition that allows for inspection. After notifying our support team, you have an additional 14 days to return the goods.
  • Return Costs: Unless we have agreed otherwise IE Damaged in transit, incorrect item/size, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
  • Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method as the original transaction.

Shipping and Delivery

  • Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. While we strive to meet these estimates, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are €50 for a bicycle and €9.99 for parts and accessories. 
  • EU Assembly Requirement.

All bikes and frames shipped to the EU require assembly by a qualified bicycle mechanic.
