Jordan Williams takes European title
Jordan Williams is the European Junior Downhill Champion, following a race-winning run in Maribor. Veronika Widmann claimed third in the elite women's category, collecting the bronze medal.
Williams took victory despite crashing on a wet and slick Maribor track, his time of 3:07.02 enough to claim the title by just 0.15-seconds.
Widmann stepped on to the podium for third place in the elite women's race.
Racing continues in Maribor next weekend for the third round of the UCI Mountain Bike Downhill World Cup.
