Riders faced testing conditions at round four of the 2023 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Andorra, as adverse weather led to a host of unavoidable schedule changes.
An amended timetable eventually allowed racing to take place, but the top-10 riders faced worsening track conditions and could not post competitive times in heavy rain and strong winds.
Matt Walker qualified 21st and with semi-finals cancelled, 61 riders started the finals race run.
Matt's start time meant he avoided the worst of the conditions and could finish 26th after an unfamiliar set of circumstances.
Greg Williamson's qualifying time placed him in 80th, around 2.4-seconds outside of making the eventual finals event.
Racing continues with round five of the series in Loudenvielle, France.
